This story surpassed all my expectations of a historical romance. I love this story right from the beginning, I could the emotions and the need for passion. I felt for Rebecca and how she had to deal with being separated from her husband and finally after fours yeas she was reunited with Rhys, who thought Rebecca had passed away and was about to marry someone else. I felt like he was a tortured soul because he had found new love but belonged to Rebecca. I loved the mystery, the story is more then just a romance, it has a outstanding creative plot. I felt the story is well written for the time period and everything was described well, like I can actually picture the story like a great movie. I cant wait to read more from this author. This is a book that you will not be able to put down. There is romance in this story.

This is my second read by Wareeze Woodson, and every bit as lovely and enjoyable as the first. Regency Romance is one of my favorite genres, and I have read tons of such books. It is a narrow target area, and therefore, difficult to write and still be fresh and original. The author managed to keep me interested and entertained throughout the novel. She kept enough of the traditional Regency balls, mansions, servants, horses and carriages, the hero and heroine, the plethora of servants sniping, relatives, helpful compatriots, dark nights, beautiful women and gorgeous gowns, while adding just enough new twists, treachery and deep personal angst to make it interesting. Recommended for fans such as I.
I adored this book. The Regency time period was portrayed accurately with the hero, Rhys, being a man of the times. Of course I wanted to smack him on many an occasion, but that just set him up to grow so much more. And grow he did. Loved it. The heroine, half Latvian and half English, had gumption, and I fell for her immediately. I was never sure where the plot would lead the reader next and this kept the pages turning. Great job to this author. Great novel!
I enjoyed reading this story on many levels An emotional love story that exhilarates and frustrates at the same time, which what real love does to us all, just the right amount of a historical run for the turmoil in Latvia, a place and time not well-know to me, and well-drawn characters for the social composition of their time, with all their flaws and shortcomings, making them grow on the pages.

This is an interesting twist on a thoughtful plot dripped in enough political turmoil. My kind of read!
Do you know that long distance relationships can last? This is what this book is about, true love and enduring love between two people who by circumstances are broken as they separated due to unforeseen circumstances. It is a very well written, no mistake book that I read in just two days. The characters are moving and realistic and the emotions are forever engraved as the pages keep turning. If you love a great novel written in the romance category you will love this book, men, women, teens or just about anyone! If you want to feel like you are actually in the story this book does that! A Good Read
An Enduring Love tells a story of separation, of heartache, of never giving up on a happy ending. This story contains suspense and danger around every corner too. I had full sympathy for Rebecca. After kicking her husband in the shins a few times, I wanted her to win. That’s the polite word for where I really wanted her kick him. She faced one problem after another fighting to restore her marriage due to a long, unavoidable forced separation.
I enjoyed reading about Rhy and Rebecca love. It seems Rebecca hold on to this undying love for Rhy. When Rebecca shows up sure he would be in shock but to punish her for being alive is very dismal. I believe a part was missing where jealously should have been shown in Rhys part for Gorgi(villain) wanting Rebecca. I needed a little bit more to be sold on the part of Rhys truly loving Rebecca. It still a good book to read.
