I didn't know much about wicca before reading this book and I still don't. This "origins" story of magic is interesting and incorporates science, space travel and exploration and aliens but everything was skimmed over with no real substance. I think the story would have been enhanced if the relationship between Sean and Kathy had simmered. Less time spent on the romantic drama could have been more time spent on the history of these beliefs, those who shared these beliefs and why they were kept secret. I think it has potential.

If I relate the plot why would you read?
The science is plausible and the majick? You decide.
The character are human, and therefore, unpredictable.
Don't assume you have the answers to everything, it can
be dangerous when you do.
