I LOVED this book as well...A true love story about the fear and insecurities; and again the depth Dawn goes in to write the story line for these characters... keeps you on the edge dying to know the outcomes... what a wonderful read!
I love a great love story between friends and this gives me all the anticipation, joy, sorrow and friendship all rolled into one amazing book. Definitely worth it!! Ad I felt like connected with chase on personal level where I found myself crying at just how she was feeling.
I enjoyed the book pretty much. The friends to lovers type is one of my favourite. However, not 5 stars due to too long no-action intro and Logan is too sappy for a guy.
The story was placid but sweet. It definitely needs to be edited. My suggestion would be for the author to get a beta reader rather than self-edit. There were several usage errors or typos. While reading the story it seemed evident that the author was not American but attempting to write a story about American teens in an American high school. That was kind of distracting.
One Of The Guys was generally a good book. The main characters are set in High School so you know that their will be drama. Chase(Heroine) and Logan(Hero) are bestfriends. So you know how it goes both like each other, both won't tell each other in fear of losing the other. They have their moments of where you want to smack them and say wake up. But overall One Of The Guys if definitely a one click.
I would recommend this book. I loved it !!! Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down ! Just one problem, I wished it had continued on just a little longer!!! What happened at the dance and what about his scholarship? Did that baseball player come and see him play? Don't get me wrong I loved it, but I wished for more!!!
I enjoyed the book but I could only give it three stars. And ill tell you why. THE WHINING!!! THE COMPLAININ!!! I thought it would never end. The book got good for me a little over half way. I couldn't stand Chase's POV. She wouldn't shut up about wanting to be with Logan. I just didn't understand her, if I loved a guy as hard as she loved Logan I couldn't sit around and be miserable. I don't understand how she could keep so much feelings bottled up, I would have exploded. Overall the book was good. I loved reading Logan's POV.
